There was no joy for our County footballers last Sunday when they fell to a three-point defeat away in Sligo to give any division 3 promotion hopes a major dent. This Saturday February 28th at 6pm they take on Munster rivals Clare in Mick Neville Park in a must win game.

Our County hurlers had opposite fortunes however, recording a massive fifteen point win over All Ireland champions Tipperary to signal their intent for the season ahead. This Sunday they travel to face Offaly in O’Connor Park with a 2pm throw in time.

Fr. Casey’s Club Lotto continued on Tuesday February 17th with a Jackpot of €30,000 up for grabs. The numbers drawn were 6, 9, 15 with the bonus ball 5. There was no Jackpot winner but we did have eleven Match 3 winners claiming €50 each and well as our regular lucky dip prizes.

The draw will continue next Tuesdaywith the Jackpot remaining at the maximum value of €30,000. We also continue our special February Draw with €300 & €200 cash prizes on offer. Eight names will be selected each week for entry into the end of month draw with two lucky winners receiving cash prizes.

The weekly progressive 41 card game continued last Friday night and another great night was enjoyed. Starting at 8.30pm sharp in the GAA Clubhouse, please spread the word and bring a friend, old and new faces are more than welcome.
