We were unlucky to get our second draw of the Championship with Na Pairsaigh, on last Friday night, played in Cappagh, played in very good conditions. At the break we were down by 2-1 to 1-3, with our goal coming from Sean O’Sullivan and then in the second half we outscored Na Pairsaigh by 2-10 to 2-9 with our goals from Darragh Stack and Brian Ahern including a two pointer from Kenny Lynch. Our scores on the night were: Brian Ahern (1-4, 1f), Darragh Stack (1-0), Sean O’Sullivan (1-0), Adam O’Kelly (0-3), Kenny Lynch (0-2, 1 two pointer), Cillian Fahy (0-2), James Molyneaux (0-1), Michael Brosnan (0-1). Sean O’Sullivan of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the first goal of the game with two minutes gone in the game and then Kieran Daly of Na Pairsaigh replied with a point to leave two points between the sides.  Micheál Brosnan of Dromcollogher scored the next point to leave three points between the sides and then Kieran Daly of Na Pairsaigh scored their first goal of the game with eight minutes gone in the game to bring sides back on level terms for the first time during the game. James Molyneaux of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next point to give us back the lead again by a point and then Jack McCarthy of Na Pairsaigh scored their second goal of the game with 19 minutes gone in the game to leave two points between the sides. Brian Ahern of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the last point of the half to leave a point between the sides at the break. Dromcollogher/Broadford 3-13 St. Senans 3-10

This was a first actual game of the championship and it was a great to get a win over St. Senan’s after two walkovers from Kilmallock and Knockane in the first two rounds and with goals on the day coming from two from Alan power the other goal came from Gavin O’Farrell and the points came John Lenihan 5 points, Alan Power 3 points, Gavin O’Farrell, Rory O’Dell, Oisin Noonan, Danny Mullane, Darragh Reidy all a point each. The table after three rounds reads as follows:  Rathkeale 8 points (+12), Athea 8 points (+18), Dromcollogher/Broadford 6 points (+3), Claughaun 5 points (0), Na Pairsaigh 5 points (-13), St. Senans 4 points (-20), Knockane and Kilmallock have both withdrawn from the group.
