This was a great game to win our first title since 2013, and our scores on the day were: Tommy Ryan 6 points (1 two pointer and 1f) Kevin Noonan (1-2), Brian O’Callaghan (1-0), Danny Mullane 2 points (1 two pointer), Ronan O’Sullivan (0-1), Micheál Fahy (0-1, 1f), Garrett Noonan (0-1).
Adam O’Connell of Ahane scored the first point of the game and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next three points of the game, and these points came from Kevin Noonan and Danny Mullane (2 pointer). Ahane scored the next three points and these points came from Jack Butler (2 pointer free) and Sam Flynn to lead by a point and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-2 of the game with the goal coming from Brian O’Callaghan after the high ball into the square from Kevin Noonan which Brian first the ball into Ahane net with 19 minutes gone in the game and the points came from Ronan O’Sulivan and Tommy Ryan to give us lead of 4 points at the break. To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-5 to Ahane 0-4.
Ahane scored the first two points of the second half with both points came from Jack Butler to leave two points between the sides and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-1 of the game with the goal coming from Kevin Noonan with 44 minutes gone in the game after a pass from Brian O’Callaghan and the point came from Tommy Ryan to leave six points between the sides. Adam O’Connell of Ahane scored the next point to leave five points between the sides and then Tommy Ryan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored another point to leave six points between the sides once again. Kevin Noonan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point of the game to leave seven points between the sides and then Ahne scored the next three points of the Liam O’Flynn scored a two pointer from a free and Jack Butler to leave four points between the sides. Micheal Fahy of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored a pointed free to leave five points between the sides and then Jack Bulter of Ahane scored a pointed free to leave four points between the sides. Tommy Ryan of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next three points one two pointer and a point to leave seven points between the sides and then Liam Og Flynn of Ahane scored another two-pointer free to leave five points between the sides. Garrett Noonan of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the last point to leave six points between the sides at end of the game. To leave the score at full-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-13 to Ahane 0-13.

To Limerick minor hurlers led by Diarmuid Mullins and to Limerick minor hurlers and especially to our club player Colin Burke against Cork on a scoreline of 2-21 to 0-18, Colin came on a sub in the second half of the game in the Electric Ireland Munster minor hurling championship round 5.

Hard Luck:
To Limerick minor footballers led by Garrett Noonan and to Limerick minor footballers and especially to our club players Sean O’Flynn and Ollie Stokes against Laois, Laois defeated Limerick on a scoreline of 3-13 to 1-14, Sean and Ollie both started on the day, Ollie scored four points, in the All-Ireland minor football tier 3 championship preliminary quarter final
To Limerick senior football management team led by Jimmy Lee and the Limerick senior footballers and especially to our club captain Cillian Fahy and Michael Fahy against Wexford, Wexford defeated Limerick on a scoreline of 2-19 to 1-11. Cillian started on the day and Michael was listed on the subs bench, Cillian scored a point in the All-Football Tailteann Cup round 1.
Dromcollogher/Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw:
The following are the results of the lotto draw that took place on the 05-05-26, and the numbers drawn were: 1, 11, 17, 31. There was no winner of the Jackpot at €2,500 and there was two winners of match three at €100 and they each got €50 and they were: C. MacCurtáin and Mag Kelleher and the two lucky dips of €50 each were: Oliver O’Connell and Suín Cahill and the next draw took place on last Monday May 11th and the jackpot went up to €2,600 and match three stayed at €100.
The following are the results of the lotto draw that took place on the 11-05-26, and the numbers drawn were: 3, 11, 15, 28. There was no winner of the jackpot at €2,600 and there was no winner of match three and the two lucky dips of €50 each were: Micheál Brosnan and Ita Reidy and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday May 18th and the jackpot is going up to €2,700 and match three staying at €100.
