Templeglantine 1-19 Dromcollogher/Broadford 0-16
To start off hurling campaign we had a good game with Templeglantine on Sunday last. The sides were level at eight points each at the break and then in the second half Templeglantine outscored us by 1-11 to 0-08, we lost by six points on the day, our scores on the day were: John Lenihan 7 points (3f and 1 65m),  two points each coming from Keith Lacey and Gavin Farrell and a point of each from the following: Damien Burke, Darragh Stack, Ronan O’Sullivan and Sean O’Sullivan. The table after the first round reads as follows: Templeglantine 2 points + 6, Killmallock 2 points +6, Ahane 2 points +3, Castletown/ Ballyagran 2 points +2, Monagea no points -2, St. Patrick’s no points -3, Dromcollogher/ Broadford no points -6, Claughaun no points – 6.
Dromcollogher/Broadford opened with points from Gavin Farrell and John Lenihan, but then Templeglantine responded with four consecutive points to take a two-point lead. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next four points to lead by two points with three of these points coming from John Lenihan and the other point came from Darragh Stack and then Templeglatine scored the next point of the game to leave a point between the sides. Gavin Farrell of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point of the game to leave two points between sides once again and then Templeglantine scored the next three points to leave a point between sides. Ronan O’Sullivan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point just before the end of the half to bring the sides back on level terms for the fourth time during the game. To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-8 to Templeglantine 0-8.
Templeglantine scored the first two points of the second half to leave two points between the sides and then Keith Lacey of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored next point of the game to leave a point between the sides.  Templeglantine scored the next 1-2 of the game with 38 minutes gone in the game to leave six points between the sies and then Brian Stack of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point to leave five points between the sides. Templeglantine scored the next point to leave six points between the sides once again and then Keith Lacey of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point to leave five points between the sides.  Templeglantine scored the next three points to leave eight points between the sides and then John Lenihan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points of the game to leave six points between the sides once again. Templeglantine scored the next point of the game to leave seven points between the sides and John Lenihan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point of the game to leave six points between the sides.
Templeglantine added a point, widening the gap to seven. Dromcollogher/Broadford responded with two points from Damien Burke and Sean O’Sullivan, reducing the difference to five. Templeglantine scored the last point of the game to leave six points between the sides at end of the game. To leave the score at full-time Templeglantine 1-19 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-16. HT 2-4 to 0-0, much better in 2nd Half after slow start that cost them.
Game 3 in Athea:
NCW 2-4 Dromcollogher/Broadford 1-2
Against a physical, bigger side, we again after a slow start improve as the game went on.
Great job, everyone. Really deserved another day out. Commitment and discipline were very good today.

The following are the results of the lotto draw that took place on the 16-03-26, and the numbers drawn were: 6, 12, 22, 30, There was no winner of the jackpot at €1,800 and there was also was three winners of the match three at €105 and they each got €35 and they were: Kathleen Barry, Jason O’Sullivan, Sean O’Sullivan and the two lucky dips of €50 each were: Maura Meaney and Daniel O’Brien and the next draw took place on this Monday last March 23rd, and the Jackpot is went up to €1,900 and match three stayed at €100.
The following are the results of the lotto draw that took place on the 23-03-26, and the numbers drawn were: 10, 22, 25, 26, There was no winner of the Jackpot at €1,900 and there was also no winner of match three at €100 and the two lucky dips of €50 each were: Pat Curtin and Helen Neenan Senior and the next draw took place on this Monday last March 23rd, and the Jackpot is going up to €2,000 and match three staying at €100.

To Limerick senior football management team led by Jimmy Lee and Limerick senior footballers and especially to our club captain Cillian Fahy against Fermanagh, Limerick defeated Fermanagh on a scoreline of 2-15 to 0-20, in the Allianz National football league division 3 round 7.
To Limerick senior hurlers management team led by John Kiely and Limerick senior hurlers and especially to Gearóid Hegarty against Galway, Limerick defeated Galway on a scoreline of 2-27 to 0-31, in the Allianz National Hurling National hurling league division 1A round 7.
 
Sympathy: 
We would like to express on sincere condolences to our Coiste na nÓg Secretary Bridget Costello/O’Flynn on the sad and unexpected passing of her brother-in-law Ollie Favier late of Curraglass, Glenflesk, Co.
