The deadline for entries for the Glór na nÓg 2026 is fast approaching, all entries must be submitted by Monday 21st September. This is the last chance for your clubs to submit entries to win up to €10,000 for their clubs!
We are asking junior club members (10-18 years old) to share which GAA players inspire them. This GAA initiative opens participation to GAA clubs across countries outside of Ireland, expanding beyond the traditional Irish base to include the global GAA community.
Participants will access the initiative through QR codes displayed at their local GAA clubs or by visiting https://www.gaa.ie/glornanog on social and digital channels, leading them to a dedicated digital platform where they will answer two questions: “Who is your favourite player from any GAA code – hurling, football, camogie, ladies’ football, handball, or rounders – and why?” and “Imagine yourself in the future as a GAA star and you are talking to your favourite player. Think Big! Tell them how they inspired you.”
