Tory Hill Gaels U14 Hurlers are in a QF on Wednesday evening; Opposition details tbc awaiting another fixture to be played Crecora Junior Championship continues this week with our men facing Drom Broadford in Round 4 in Sean Finn Park, Rathkeale on Friday 4th of September at 6:30pm. Tory Hill Gales U13 Hurlers face Killeedy Tournafulla in Croom on Friday 4th of September at 6:20pm. Best of luck to all our teams lining out this week.

Premier Junior A hurling Championship Group 2 Round 3
Crecora Manister 1:20 Caherline 0:27
Following two wins out of two we faced off against Caherline on last Thursday evening in a top of the table clash against last years Semi finalists. Following a lightning fast start by Caherline and some missed chances from Crecora we found ourselves 7 points down after 15 minutes but credit to the lads they dug deep to take control of the game for the remainder of the first half and by the 13th minute of the second half we had drawn level and then took the lead by a point. however those efforts caught up with us and despite the last 15 mins being nip and tuck, Caherline took their scores and ended up 4 point winners on the night.
Next up for our lads is Drom Broadford on next Friday evening in Sean Finn Park, Rathkeale where we hope to put our season back on track. Thanks to referee John O’Halloran and his team for officiating on the night. Thanks to Fedamore for the use of their facilities and best wishes to Caherline for the remainder of the campaign. Finally, thanks to all who turned out to support us on the evening.
Minor Football Semi Final
Tory Hill Gaels 0:16 Askeaton/Ballysteen/Kilcornan 2:08
Tory Hill Gaels took on Askeaton/Ballysteen/Kilcornan in their Minor B Football Semi-Final Wednesday evening in Kildimo, in what turned out to be an extremely entertaining game. ABK got off to the perfect start with a goal but THG picked off a few points and led by 0-10 to 1-04 at the half-time break.
THG pushed on after the break and extended their lead to 7 points, but ABK didn’t give up and raised another green flag with 6 minutes left on the clock. ABK continued to put on the pressure for the remainder of the half but THG stuck together, defended really well and got their hard fought, well deserved win. Well done to all players and management. Thanks to all who headed to Kildimo to support the lads, details on the County Final to follow.
U8 and U10 Hurling Blitzes:
Our U10 boys lined out in a blitz on Friday last. There were some very positive displays from our boys. On Thursday last our under 8’s took part in a hurling blitz in Ballybricken. They played against South Liberties and Ballybricken. Well done to all our underage players and coaches. Thank you to the parents for your support.
Limerick GAA Draw:
Congratulations to Mark Leahy, winner of the exclusive prize, and to Tim Egan, winner of €500, in the Club Limerick draw. A fantastic result for both winners, congratulations and well done!
