Crecora/Manister GAA Club Notes:
Limerick GAA:
The Limerick U15 hurlers played Galway today in the John Doyle A Shield semi-final. Our own Conor Hickey, playing at midfield, scored a dramatic injury-time goal to bring the game to extra time. Unfortunately, Limerick were beaten after extra time on a scoreline of 1-20 to 3-11.
The team did finish the weekend on a high, with a great win over Westmeath in the 3rd/4th place play-off, winning 4-17 to 4-12.
Conor made a valuable contribution, finishing the games with 1-03. Well done to Conor and all the Limerick U15 hurlers on a fantastic effort throughout the weekend!

Round 4 of the Intermediate Football Championship continues this week with our men facing NaPiarsaigh in Rathbane Friday 21st at 6:30pm
Crecora U10 Footballers have their last Blitz on Friday 21st August at 6:30pm in Crecora.

Club Paintwork:
Well done to Mark Leahy and all the volunteers who gave the club portacabin a fresh coat of paint this weekend. The new paintwork has really given the facilities a lovely facelift and blends in beautifully with the new gym. A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and helped carry out the work. Your efforts are very much appreciated!
