Feile na nGael:
Our brave U15 Tory Hill Gaels Féile Team were out on Sunday morning for the Feile semi-finals after their fantastic victories over both Dromin Athlacca and Killacolla Gaels in Crecora on Friday evening.
Killeedy/Tournafulla started strongly going 0-4 to 0-0 up in the opening minutes. The boys however rallied strongly and started to gain a hold in midfield through Lewis O’Mahony and Conor Browne. We levelled the match with some lovely scores from our half forwards of Conor Hickey and Fionn Kennedy. The half ended 0-5 to 0-5.
The lads matched Killeedy point for point in a thrilling committed end to end second half contest. Conor Hickey showed great composure to convert a 65 and level the match at 0-10 to 0-10, sending the game into extra time.
We were again slow to start in extra time. We gradually worked our way back into it, but Killeedy/Tournafulla struck a crucial goal just before halftime in extra time. The lads persisted but unfortunately couldn’t close the gap and Killeedy Tournafulla ran out winners in extra time by 4points. The final score after extra time was 1-15 to 0-14 in favour of Killeedy/Tournafulla.
Great credit is due to the players for their determination, resilience, and never-say-die attitude throughout the game. They showed real character to battle back and push the match to extra time. Credit also goes to the coaches and management team for their preparation, guidance, and commitment that was clearly reflected in the team’s performance.
We would like to thank all those who helped in hosting at Crecora Pitch on Friday night from preparing the field to assisting with the car parking and thank you to all the Croom and Crecora parents who provided refreshements on the night.
Thank you to Andrew Deacon from Lough Derg Cruisers who very kindly provided us with the use of the gazebo and tables. Finally, thank you to Finola Mcateer and Brodericks in Croom for the refreshments the Feile Team received on Sunday. Well done boys 🙌

Thanks to our building contractor PBC Limited who have finished the gym building to a very high standard and who were a pleasure to work with throughout the process.
Finally, thanks to our Club Development Committee who oversee all club development initiatives, and to acknowledge in particular Mark Leahy and Aidan Malone who was the club’s contact point with PBC during the construction process.
