CLUB Limerick Dublin Notes:

Mass:
The annual Club Limerick Dublin (CLD) Mass was another very pleasant evening last Friday, 20 March, as members gathered to commemorate and celebrate the lives of those who have passed since the last occasion on 11 April 2025.
The Mass took place in The Goat and once again, the venue was splendidly prepared by Johnny Quilty and hosted by Charlie Chawke. Sincere thanks to Fr. Dan Baragry C.Ss.R. from Rosbrien in Limerick (pictured), who deputised for Fr. Paddy Kelly C.Ss.R.
Fr. Dan is a relation of former Limerick hurling goalkeeper David Bulfin of Mungret.
Those remembered were Mike Ahern, Croagh; Patrick Begley, Mungret-St. Paul Vincent Cagney, Kilteely; David Casey, Ballysteen; Siobhán Clancy, Kilbehenny; Donie Culhane, Rathkeale; Patty Garvey, Shanagolden; Florence Hartigan, Donoughmore, Limerick; Audrey Lennon, Ardnacrusha; Daisy Madigan, Shanagolden; Dymphna McGonigle, Dublin; Denis Mullins, Anglesborough; Brigid O’Neill, Limerick; Mary Rice, Dublin; Declan Sexton, Dungarvan/Mungret; Hannah Sheehy, Athea/Dublin; Ruth Staunton, Raheen/Ballyclough; Paddy Wall, Rathkeale (anniversary); and Maureen Walsh, Adare/Dublin.
CLD wishes to acknowledge the presence of Seán Burke, County Board Treasurer, who made the journey from Crecora.
Musical maestro Gerry Quinn led the Choir of Ollie Mann, Peig Looney and Alma Kavanagh (who also assisted as Eucharistic Minister), who did a splendid job. Family members brought a lighted candle to the altar in memory of their loved ones, and refreshments were served following the Mass.
