The draws for the six GAA senior provincial championship draws have been postponed.No date has been set for the four football and two hurling draw but RTÉ Sport understands they will not take place for a number of weeks, at least.The GAA do not wish to decide pairings given the uncertainty of a return to grouped training for teams.

The association’s Covid advisory group is set to meet today at 5pm.

The Covid-19 landscape in Ireland has led to a delay on the projected calendar this season.

The Allianz League will not begin before the end of March.

The All-Ireland finals are more likely to take place in August rather than July with the possibility of further delays.
