Calling all Coaches…this is sure to interest you


On Saturday 21st of March a coaching workshop titled “A practical guide to Games Design” will take place in the Limerick Institute of Technology with a great lineout up of coaches facilitating the workshop – Jerome Stack, Donie Buckley, Dave Lavin & Stephen Lavin, with Paul Kinnerk providing the opening address.

This year’s workshop focuses on the design of game based sessions for teams. The conference also provides an introduction into incorporating fundamental movements into GAA training in younger children. Each session will include a practical part as well as an instructional presentation.

11:30 Workshop 1 – Game design for U10 to U18 – Stephen Lavin

Workshop 2 – Using games to teach Fundamental Movements Skills in GAA Nurseys – David Lavin

Cost: €20 per person or club offer 3 for €50

All funds received on the day are being redirected straight back into the Limerick Football Academies, a wise investment!!
