The jackpot was not won this week. The numbers drawn were 02, 11, 17 and 25. Congratulations to our lucky dip winners: €50 – Mike Ryan; €20 – Paddy O’Leary, Mairead Dempsey, Marie Somers, Stacy Fitzgerald, Mary O’Keeffe, Mary Doherty, Caroline Hanley, and Robbie Moloney. We appreciate everyone’s continued support. The next draw takes place on Thursday, June 4th, with a jackpot of €7,700.

Bingo:
Join us every Thursday evening at 8pm in the Bruff GAA Hall for Bingo. There are numerous prizes to be won each week, along with a raffle on the night. It’s always a great opportunity to catch up with friends, enjoy some fun, and maybe take home a prize or two. We look forward to welcoming both familiar faces and newcomers for an evening of laughter and community spirit.

Feile Panel:
Our Féile panel has been busy both on and off the field as preparations continue for their upcoming Féile competition. The players have launched a GoFundMe campaign to help support the costs associated with representing the club and community. Sincere thanks to everyone who has already contributed, every donation is greatly appreciated. In addition to fundraising, the Féile panel has also been actively involved in local improvement projects across the parish. Their efforts include clean-up and enhancement works at Bruff GAA grounds, new signage installation, and painting works to keep our facilities looking their best. The group also extended their commitment to community by working on improvement projects at the old water pump in Grange, Meanus GAA grounds, the Church grounds, and Parochial grounds in Bruff. These initiatives have truly brightened key areas and show the pride and responsibility our players have for the communities they represent. We’re proud of everyone’s efforts and extend heartfelt congratulations to all players, mentors, and volunteers involved. https://gofund.me/2537d7a13

Facilities Upgrades:
It’s fantastic to see ongoing improvements around Bruff GAA grounds, with the new fencing making a noticeable difference already. This development enhances the overall appearance of the club, creating a more modern and welcoming environment for players, members, and visitors. A huge thank you to all of the club volunteers who gave their time and effort to help get this project finished. Your support and hard work are greatly appreciated and have helped deliver a fantastic result for the club. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the contractors, Mervyn Gardiner and FRS Fencing, for their highly professional workmanship and attention to detail throughout the project. The quality of the finished work is outstanding. The new fence around the field looks excellent and will be a great asset for years to come.

Handball:
Congratulations to Cathal Murnane, who represented the club with distinction at the Community Games Handball competition in Longford last weekend. Cathal delivered an excellent performance, achieving a great first-round victory and narrowly missing out in his next contest by just one point, 16-15. Cathal continues to improve with every tournament and is proudly flying the flag for Bruff GAA.

U14 Hurling:
The 14s hurling panel is eager to begin their championship this week, on the back of three competitive challenges games recently, the boys are keen to get into competitive competition, best of luck on Thursday boys.

U17 Hurling:
Reaching a plate final last week in Kilbreedy, unfortunately it wasn’t to be on the night for this fine panel of players, whom we look forward to see playing in older groups now as the season progresses.
