BLACKROCK GAA CLUB NOTES
The club was very saddened this week with the death of Tommy Carroll, former club player, underage coach and supporter after a short illness. Pre deceased by his brother John we extend our deepest sympathies to his partner Siobhan, his children Sean and Sophie, his parents Alice and Tommy Snr, his sisters Mary and Aine and brother Edwin and their families, his parents in law and many relations and friends. There is an air of sadness around the town and the club, please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
Due to unforeseen circumstances there will be no lotto this week and we will start back on 28th April. Weather permitting we will be holding an outdoor AGM that week. Please keep note on all forms of media to get up to date information. There will be limited notice given as it is weather dependant. Club membership is now available on www.foireann.ie there are several options, adult membership is €40, adult membership with lotto for the remainder of the year is €80, student and OAP €20 and social membership(for the walking track) is €20, student and OAP and social membership with lotto for the remainder of the year is €70. 12 year members are covered.
