BALLYBROWN GAA CLUB NOTES
The very Best of Luck to our Minor team who play the County Premier Minor Hurling Championship Final vs Doon in Bruff on Saturday at 3.45. Please come out in large numbers to support the lads.
PARISH LEAGUE – Our annual Parish league was played last Sunday afternoon for the U12 O’Grady Cup AND the U8/U10 Jack & Margaret Sheehan Cup and Shield. It was a fantastic afternoon showcasing the large numbers of juveniles we have in the club and the immense talent they have. We must thank Tina and Antoinette who came to present the O’Grady Cup to Max White Captain. TJ Toomey captained the other team so it was all kept in the family. Tony and Berta couldn’t make it in person but we know they would have been delighted with the boys. Jack & Margaret Sheehan once again continued a long tradition to throw in the sliotars to start the finals for their Cup & Shield. It was a pleasure to see them once again interact with the children and continue their long tradition of support to the club. Winning Shield Captain was Adam Kiely and Cup Winning Captain was James Byrnes- Congratulations to all 4 teams on great games today. Our U7,6,5 children also gave a great display to their proud parents of all they have learned this year. There is plenty of talent and spirit in the club and may these huge number of children continue to tog out in the Ballybrown jersey with such pride for years to come. Once again Killian Gavin & Luke Doran came to referee the matches and we thank them for their time. Mike Mann took charge of the U12’s and they kept him busy up and down the pitch at speed. We give much thanks to all of the parents who baked, made sandwiches and brought treats. This all wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of our Juvenille Committee and Coaches. They spend many hours before and after to set up and tidy up.

CLUB GEAR: You can NOW buy your own Ballybrown Gaa club jersey. The senior jersey comes both with the Q3 logo or without. The juvenile jersey comes with the O Sullivan Centra logo or without. there is lots of gear available to buy on the site . It will be great to see lots of adults and children wearing the new club Gear… So get buying So for birthday presents, communion gifts or hopefully a county final you will be able to order gear delivered to your door as and when you want it…
