Well done to the U8 girls team who traveled to Ballyhahill last Monday night. On the night they played Gerald Griffins, Fr Casey’s and St Senans. Their skills and determination are improving with every game. Thanks to the coaches for their dedication, the parents for their support and Gerald Griffins for hosting a lovely evening.
U12 Girls:
Congrats to our U12 girls on a great display against Gerald Griffins last Friday night. Our numbers were low on the night but that didn’t deter the girls from putting on a great display of football.
U14 Girls:
Hard luck to our u14’s who were defeated by Oola in the league semi final last Wednesday night in Cappamore. The girls are improving with every game they play and we look forward to seeing them progress in the championship in the coming weeks.

Athea 3:7 St.Kierans 3:4
Athea played a fantastic game of football on Thursday evening last in Athea. Athea started strongly leading 1:4 to 1 point at one stage but to St.Kierans credit they scored 1:01 just before halftime leaving little between the teams at the break. St.Kierans started the second half on fire dominating in every position on the field and scored 2:2 with out replay in a 10 minute spell. Athea to their credit never dropped the heads and in the last 10min scored 2:3 to come out on top at the final whistle following a very enjoyable game of football with excellent skill levels from both sides with the Athea subs contributing hugely to the late Athea recovery: Scores: Daniel Hunt 1:03, Mark Collins 1:02, Aaron Broderick 1:0 and Shane Ahern 0:02. Team; Eoin Ahern, Nathan Ambrose , Kane Brouder, Jamie Brosnan, Paddy O’Connor, Tadhg Hunt, Tony Ambrose, Jack Leahy, Daniel Broderick, Daniel Hunt, Aaron Broderick, Aaron Hunt, Conor Leach, Mark Collins, Joe Scanlon, John Ahern, Liam Og Reidy, Owen Kenrick, Se Ahern, Cathal Fitzgerald, Shane Ahern, Oisin McCarthy.
U13 Boys Hurling:
