Under 14 Football Championship Round 1:
ABK 4-04 St Kierans 2-08
Our under 14 footballers got their year off to a great start with a hard fought two point victory over neighbours St Kierans in Coolcappa last Thursday night. A hat trick of goals from Danny Anglim looked to be enough to give us the two points but St Kierans goaled with five minutes remaining to lead by one with time almost up. With defeat looking likely up stepped Kayden Delahunty to find the top corner of the Kierans net to give us the win in a welter of excitement.

Na Fianna Under 12 Tournament:
Well done to our under 12 hurlers who played some great hurling at the Na Fianna tournament in Dublin on Saturday. A panel of 19 players departed the GAA pitch at 7.30am and arrived at Na Fianna GAA grounds in Glasnevin at 10am. Following the pre tournament parade we played four competitive and enjoyable games versus Dublin, Wexford and Galway opposition. The host clubs hospitality was fantastic throughout the day and our young players enjoyed a memorable experience. We stopped off in Supermacs in Junction 14 to round off a great day.
Under 7 Hurling:
The rain cleared just in time for our U7 hurlers on Saturday morning in Ballybrown.
Our young hurlers played absolutely brilliant hurling in games vs Mungret, Ballybrown and Athea. Super teamwork and effort from everyone. Well done all and thanks to Ballybrown GAA for organising and hosting.
