AHANE GAA CLUB NOTES
New Year Wishes
Happy New Year to all our players, coaches, volunteers, members, supporters and everyone in the wider community. 2021 was another hard year for us all, but through it there were some great days on and off the field for the club! Here’s hoping 2022 will be a year full of happiness, health, joy and success! Stay safe, look out for one another and here’s to a great 2022
Condolences
On behalf of all of us in Ahane GAA Club we send our heartfelt condolences to Tommy Smith, his sons, Padráig, Cathal, Adrian, Niall, Clement, and Shane on the sad passing of Mary. Mary’s sons have all been involved in the club as they played at both underage and adult level. Clem represented the club at Senior Inter County Level with the Limerick Hurlers. The Smith family have always been great supporters of the club, and Mary herself was always found on the sidelines supporting her sons and has continued to be a supporter of the club. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and our thoughts and prayers are with her husband Tommy, her sons, their partners, her grandchildren and her wide circle of friends and neighbours. May she Rest in Peace. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílís.
