Hurling:
Our Senior Hurling team & management were very unlucky last Sunday to Patrickswell in the County Senior Hurling Championship, Quarter Final as the game finished 0-18 to 0-20. They are now out of the remaining stages but we wish them the best of luck as they prepare for a promotion final to Senior A against South Liberties on Sunday the 16th of October in Kilmallock at 4pm.
Our Junior Hurlers had a great win in the West Quarter Final over Tournafulla in Coolyroe on Saturday last with a 1-19 to 1-11 victory. We wish them the very best as they prepare for the West Semi-final, this Saturday the 9th of October. They play Kileedy in the Bog Garden at 1:45pm, referee Gerard McCarthy.
Also best wishes to our U17’s who now prepare for a County Final after beating Patrickswell on Sunday morning on a scoreline of 2-10 to 0-13. County Final, yet TBC.

We would like to wish our Senior Footballers & Management the very best as they prepare for the County Semi-Final this Sunday the 10th of October against Galtee Gaels in Killmallock at 2pm. Referee Timmy McGrath. Tickets for this game are available online through the club.
Adare Camogie Club Notes:
A great result for our Phoenix Precision Engineering sponsored Junior Camogie team when they defeated Ballybrown in R2 of the Junior A Camogie Championship in Ballybrown on Sunday last.
Conditions were less than ideal for both sides with heavy rain & wind and Ballybrown were up for it with some impressive scores in the first 15 mins meaning Adare trailed 1-2 to 0-4 at the water break. Great performances in that period, especially from Amy Mullins in corner back, keeping us in the game. Adare eventually found rhythm in the second quarter with some fine scores from play, keeping Ballybrown scoreless in that period, to ensure Adare were ahead at half time 1-2 to 0-9.
Adare came out fighting in the first period of the second half & a fine goal from Annette Casey set us up nicely. The team regrouped at the water break and pushed forward. We were able to capitalise on Ballybrown‘s indiscipline at times with Caoimhe Costelloe’s razor sharp accuracy. Each and every one of the girls gave it their all. Our captain Sophie O’Callaghan put two points on the board & was responsible for setting up key passages of play. We used all subs in the final period & we were delighted to see Claire Roche make her Junior debut.
The game finished up Ballybrown 1-7 to Adare 1-15. Team: Evette Walsh, Emily Butler, Louise Butler, Amy Mullins, Maieve O Halloran, Sophie O Callaghan, Hannah Sweeney, Marie Butler, Ciara Dunne, Lauren Ryan, Caoimhe Costello, Annie Guilteane, Carla Griffin, Annette Casey, Grace McNamara. Subs: Sarah Carey (Maeve O’Halloran), Claire Roche (Annette Casey). Scorers: Caoimhe 0-13 Sophie 0-2 Annette 1-0 FT: Ballybrown 1-7 Adare 1-15 Áth Dara Abú
