Tournafulla G.A.A. Club Notes:

Indoor Hurling:

The indoor hurling for Bord na nOg players has kicked off again this year. This takes place in the handball alley from Monday to Friday between 5pm and 8:30pm. All underage players have been divided up into groups of 4 – 6 players and are allocated to two coaches who will train them one night a week for 40min and will continue each week up until registration evening. From then on, they will train outdoors in the pitch. Thanks to all involved in setting up this training schedule and thanks also to all the coaches for giving up their time to help develop these young players. To all parents of underage hurlers could we ask for your support as we start the 2017 season. A lot of work is put in by mentors and coache’s voluntary to organize training / matches and other various events throughout the year. Remember it’s for your kids they are doing this so they can get out during summer evenings and enjoy playing hurling with their friends. All that is asked in return is that each player is at most of the training sessions and matches and that parents communicate back to the managers when they receive a text or phone call as it will make things a bit easier and worthwhile for the coaches giving up their spare time. Thank you.
