St. Patrick’s GAA Club Notes

All Ireland Hurling Quarter Final:
Best of luck to Gearoid Hegarty and Limerick in the All Ireland Quarter Final against Kilkenny next Weekend.Gearoid contributed two points in the win over Carlow on Saturday evening,his brother Diarmuid was also with the Limerick minors in Thurles losing out to Galway on the day.
Well done to Shane Cross,Pearse Shields to Adam McNamara and Donnchadh o Callaghan who were part of Limerick U15 and U16 footballPanels in Munster tournament competitions on Saturday last.

Intermediate Hurling/Senior Football:
Important third championship round fixtures due in July will depend on the outcome of the Limerick/Kilkenny clash. The senior footballers will play St Kierans and Dromcollogher Broadford in the county league this week and the Intermediate hurling team will play Mungret in the replay of the City Semi final fixture tbc.

U16 Football
St Patrick s 1 05 Monaleen 0 9:
A first defeat of the campaign for our U16s on Monday. In a very tight game where defences were on top ,St Patrick’s were just edged out despite sustained pressure in the closing stages. Credit to the team who lined out on the night for their efforts.
