Mungret St Pauls G.A.A. Club Notes:

U13 Football:
Mungret St. Pauls 1-1 Monaleen 1-7
On Monday 9 October the U13 footballers welcomed Monaleen to Mungret where they had a slow start, making a few mistakes and fumbles on the ball they went in at half time with the visitors out in front. The second half Mungret St. Pauls returned to the field a stronger team as they rallied together and shut Monaleen down on their passes and denied points. This was worked with great determination.
U16 Football:

Mungret St. Pauls 1-8 St. Kierans 2-11
With an early start in Mick Neville Park the U16 footballers struggled to get scoring and were unable to connect with the net with many chances made to them. They ended the first half down 2-5 to 0-6 to St Kierans. 10 minutes into the second half Mungret St. Pauls were still down but were firing the ball in the right direct although they missed a few more goal opportunity, one got past which brought Mungret St. Pauls to 2 points behind 1-7 to 2-6. St. Kierans then stepped their game up a gear and powered through with their points. It was all over in Mick Neville Park with Mungret St. Pauls being stopped with a 6 point defeat at the semi final Stage. St. Kierans now go forward to play Fr. Caseys.
Club Shop:

The club shop is now taking orders for Christmas, if you are looking for a club gear bag now it the time to put your order in before the cut off date of 18 November shop open Saturday 11.30am to 12.30pm. Please note the club shop will not be open on Saturday 28 October.
Cash for Clobber:

We are now ready to accept your bags of clothes, curtains, bed clothes, shoes, bags and belts at the back of the clubhouse under the canopy. This is a great way to clean out your wardrobes and help the club at the same time.
Scór na nOg 2017:

Scór is a GAA competition that combines all the colour and rivalry of Gaelic Games with the social/fun element of Ireland’s traditional past-times. The competition was established by the GAA in 1969 with the aim of promoting Ireland’s traditional past-times and culture while offering club members the chance to meet up, have fun and represent their club during the winter months while hurling, Football, Handball, Camogie, Ladies football and rounders had ceased.
There are 7 events/disciplines in Scór na nÓg 2017 that cover all aspects of Irish culture. Scór na nÓg 2017 is for people under 17 years.

Aithriseoireacht/Scéalaíocht (Recitation/Storytelling)
