Upcoming Christmas Lotto Jackpot of €3,400

This week’s draw is our Christmas Lotto (with extra prizes on the night) and will be held in the Halla Beag, Thursday 20th December with a Jackpot of €3,400.

If interested in subscribing to Knockaderry GAA Club Lotto there are several options, a weekly purchase of €2 or three for €5 or a weekly direct debit of €5.

All funds go to help and promote from Bord na nOg to Adult level in the Club.

Clouncagh/Knockaderry Combined Parish Draw

The January draw will be held in Scanlons Bar on Thursday 3rd January 2019.

You can subscribe to the draw at any time. Cost per monthly Draw is €10. A rolling yearly subscription of €100 upfront entitles you to a €20 saving. We would appreciate you and your family members support in this Draw. Thanking you for your continuous support. Contact committee members from GAA, Camogie, Community Council and Ahalin NS Parents Association if you would like to join or have any queries.

Knockaderry GAA CLUB PLANNING – 3 year plan

A special open meeting for all interested in the future of Knockaderry GAA and Camogie Club will be held on Thursday 24th January in the Resource Centre Knockaderry 7:30-9:30. This initiative is being facilitated by Limerick County Board officials and consultants. We are hoping for a big attendance on the night as this is a chance for everyone to get their voices heard and ideas explored on the future direction of our club so spread the word!!!!

County Board CLUB Season Tickets

Any that wishes to place an order for County Board CLUB Season Tickets please forward your orders to Ger Corkery 087-6303040. Please note these tickets are only for CLUB Games under the jurisdiction of the Senior County Board and not for any intercounty games/all Ireland tickets. They are priced at €100.

Bord na nOg Review meeting

A end of year Bord na nOg meeting took place last Wednesday 12th December in Clouncagh. Johnny Lavelle (Chairman), Ger Downes (Secretary) and Ollie Dowling (Underage Coaching Officer) have been nominated to go forward for ratification at first club executive meeting in January. Underage coaches will also be ratified at this meeting.

2019 County Intermediate Hurling Championship Draw

The draw was made last Sunday in Bruff following the County Convention. There is some very interesting local battles in store for 2019. Dates will be confirmed early in the new year. The format is the same as previous years with 2 groups, the top team of each group advance to the semi-finals, 2nd and 3rd in the group advance to quarter-finals.

The draw sequence for Knockaderry (drawn in group 1) is as follows:

· Round 1 v Feohanagh

· Round 2 v Tournafulla

· Round 3 v Newcastlewest

· Round 4 v Croom

· Round 5 v Na Piarsaigh

Hurl West Along The Road

After a very successful event last year, the Road hurling will take place again this Christmas on Sunday 30th December starting with registration at 12:15pm in Scanlons Bar. This fundraiser is aid of Knockaderry GAA / Bord na nOg – Teams of 3, €10 per person. (Bord na nOg €5 per person)

Knockaderry FC Annual Fun/Walk Run

The Annual Knockaderry FC Fun/Walk Run takes place on St. Stephens Day. Starting at the Resource Centre at 12 noon. Registration takes place at 11:15am. For further information contact Pa Downes.


Knockaderry GAA expresses its sympathy to The Kennedy Family, Gurteen on the passing of Mary Kennedy. May she rest in peace. We would also like to express our sympathy to Martin & Catriona O’Donovan and family, Ahalin on the passing of Catriona’s mother Mrs Noreen Kerr. May she rest in peace.

Limerick Victory Banquet

The Banquet was held in the Adare Manor last Sunday where Tom Condon and 35 other players received their Celtic Cross Medal. Congratulation Tom and all of the victorious Limerick panel!!
