Club Lottery Celebrating 20 Years Jackpot €10,200!

The numbers drawn in Scanlans Bar were 2, 10,17 and 22. There was no jackpot winner. Lucky dip winners were Kathleen Sheehy, promoter Tom Condon, Nellie Sheehy, promoter Tom Sheehy, Molloy Children, promoter Noel Molloy, Ethna Hayes, promoter GAA and Elana Bradley, promoter Mike Mortell. Promoters prize Tom Condon. In house Draw Philip Meehan. This week’s draw will be held in The Halla Baeg, Friday Decmber 8th with a jackpot of €10,200. If interested in doing Knockaderry club lotto there are several options, a weekly purchase of €2 or three for €5 or a weekly direct debit of €5. Lipsync Christmas Clear Out Clothes Collection this Saturday 1pm-2pm!

So far the Christmas clothes/Textile clearout has got a great response. We are going with it again this Saturday from 1pm to 2pm at the GAA pitch (please note time change) Accepted will be mens/womens/childrens clothes, household textiles eg curtain, bedlinen, towels ect, shoes, handbags, belts and soft toys. Pillows/duvets, mats, carpets, books or electronics will not be accepted. All items must be clean and in acceptable condition. All items to be bagged and tied. If you need further information please do not hesitate to contact Marie Lavelle, Zara Mc Grath, Ted Danaher or Richie Wall.

A Big Thank-You to “Name That Song”

The response to last Saturdays “Name That Song” quiz was great. Thanks to all who supported it and gave spot prizes. To John & John Ed Hartnett for being the quiz masters and for their time after to the Karakoe and entertainment a big thank you. To our Lipsync Committee for their organising of the event.

“Lets Get Cooking” This Thursday with Deirdre!

Our Christmas cookery demonstration with Deirdre Doody has arrived. The doors will open at 7pm with Deirdre’s  Mullied wine and Mince pies reception followed by a Christmas Demonstration with a difference. So come join in and start the Festive season with great cookery ideas!! Payment at the door will be accepted or tickets are still available for €12 and can be got from Nora Condon, Mag Bridgeman, Noelle Collum, Mary Collum or any committee member. All Welcome!

Christmas Lipsync Draw Ongoing:

The response to our Christmas draw has been great. Thanks to all within in the parish and beyond who have bought tickets and donated spot prizes. Tickets are available up to Friday December 22nd where we will be holding the draw in the Halla Beag for our Christmas night. Tickets are available from GAA and camogie committee members. Prizes are fantastic first prize is €1,000 and many more great prizes. Thanks for the continued support!


The club extends its sympathy to Mrs. Joan Begley and the Begley family on the passing of Jack Begley RIP late if Clouncagh. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anim.

The club also extends its sympathy to Mrs. Ann Magner and the Magner family Ahalin on the passing of Ann’s mother Mrs. Mary Supple, Rathkeale. May she rest in peace.
