FR. CASEY’S GAA CLUB NOTES

Club Limerick Draw The next Club Limerick Draw takes place on Saturday April 24th with another jackpot prize of €10,000 and a host of cash prizes up for grabs including an Exclusive Star Prize of a Weber Spirit II E 320 GBS Gas Barbecue plus €250 worth of free utensils. This will be the second of ten monthly draws which will run until December.

The Club Limerick Draw is one of our main fundraisers with 50% of the entrant fee returned to our local club. We strongly urge all club members to support this vital fundraiser and with such a wonderful selection of prizes on offer hopefully your luck is in for 2021.

The cost of entry is €10 per draw. You can sign up by contacting our local co-ordinator Liam O’Connor or online via limerickgaa.ie/club-limerick-draw, remembering to select Fr. Caseys as the nominated club during the process.

Con & Annie Kirby Memorial

The second round of the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial Stake took place last Saturday night in the Limerick Greyhound Stadium. Once more our nominated greyhound Rural Star came home in third place to claim the final qualification spot from the heat. Next weekend is the quarter finals with 24 greyhounds still standing. Rural Star will run from Trap 1 in Heat 1 and fingers crossed he can produce another top three finish to progress to the semi-finals. Updates on his progress can be followed on our club social media accounts and also via the Limerick Greyhound Stadium Twitter account with an option to watch from home via Talking Dogs TV also detailed there. Sponsored by JP McManus & family, this annual event is welcomed by all Limerick clubs with a €20,000 prize-fund on offer including €10,000 for the winning club.

Friends of Fr. Casey’s Fundraiser

Fr. Caseys GAA Club are currently collecting the final names for our new Friends of Fr. Caseys sign which will be erected this summer in our club grounds. This attractive sign will contain the names of all those who have supported this fundraiser meaning future generations can see your generosity towards our local GAA Club. All funds raised will go towards the future development of our club grounds. Further information including a list of upcoming and recently completed upgrade projects within the club can be viewed on our club website www.frcaseysgaa.ie.

Placing your name on the sign will cost €100 for an individual or couple and €150 for a family name.
