Munster Club Junior A Football:

Last Saturday Croom played Ballyduff Lower of Waterford in Bruff in the quarterfinal of the Munster Club championship. After a disappointing county final loss, we threw off the shackles, playing a more direct game playing some great football in the first 15mins and probably should have been further ahead than 4 points to 1 having missed a goal chance but so too did Ballyduff. We retreated a bit and that brought them onto us again leaving the half time score 4 points to 2. The second half was a battle with the game flowing up and down the field. We kept Ballyduff at arms length for the majority of the game but found ourselves 7 points to 6 ahead with 10mins left. We managed one final point before locking down the defence as Ballyduff went in search of a goal. The final whistle went and we were delighted with the win. Thanks to everyone from Croom who travelled to cheer on the team and we hope to have more supporters next Saturday as we take on Mullinahone of Tipperary at 1pm at a venue TBC.

AGM:The 2019 AGM will take place at the clubhouse on Monday December 30th. All are welcome.
