Club Limerick (Dublin) Notes.

Well done to the Senior hurling team on a very impressive victory over Waterford in Round 3 of the Munster Championship. To date over 85,000 people have watched Limerick play – the joint highest aggregate attendance with Cork. Hard luck to the minor team which was unlucky not to at least draw the game against a fine Waterford side. Next games are away to Clare on Sunday next 17 June in Ennis. The prize for both teams is a place in the Munster finals. The senior side is assured of a Quarter Final spot but the minor team must make it to the Provincial final.

Hard luck to the senior footballers who went down to Mayo in the qualifiers but in the process notched their best score of the season with 3-7 since they scored 2-10 against Waterford in the League.

Best of luck to the U20 side which faces Kerry in Newcastlewest at 19.30 on Wednesday night.

Best of luck to the senior camogie team which also plays Clare next weekend in the Liberty Assurance Camogie Championship. That game throws in on Saturday. Both sides will be looking for their first points after going down to Kilkenny and Galway respectively.
