The recent sunshine has been greatly welcomed in our village. Our flowers are starting to settle in well and are providing a colourful display as well as a conversation point in our village. Thanks very much to those who have been watering the flowers in this warm weather, great to see team spirt. The school children are maintaining their hanging basket under their green guard teams. The water pump is almost finished its transformation, the addition of some stones to the base of the pump has given the pump its much-needed finishing touch. The stone work at the seat behind the pump just needs a little attention and then this area of the village is ready for this year’s judging of the TidyTowns competition. Great to see loads of painting and tidying up being done around the village Please continue to like our Facebook page as we will be posting our next projects, meeting dates and volunteer requests there. We are hoping to hold a church gate collection 23rd of June at the 7.30pm mass. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
