Lotto Draw:
The weekly lotto draw was held on Wednesday night last October 25 at McGrath’s Bar, where the jackpot on offer was €7,250 the numbers drawn were as follows 10, 15, 26 and 28. There was no Jackpot winner the lucky dip winners were as follows €40 John O’Brien, Vale View Kilfinane, Promoter Donie O’Sullivan, €20 Delia Coughlan C/o Liam Quane Kilmurry Kilfinane, Promoter McGrath’s Bar, €20 Hazel, Noah and Logan Ryan Ardpatrick, Promoter T G Ryan, €20 Statia Cleary West End Kilfinane, Promoter Breda Walsh and €20 Kerrie Murphy Ardpatrick, Promoter Carmel Murphy. There was a jackpot of €7,400 on offer on last night Wednesday November 1 at McCarthy’s Bar.
Annual General Meeting:
The Annual General Meeting of Blackrock GAA club will be held on Thursday 30th. November Ardpatrick Community Centre at 7.30pm
County Minor A Hurling Championship Final:
On Saturday last, October 28, in Kilmallock, Ballyhoura Gaels minor hurlers suffered defeat in the County minor ‘A’ hurling championship final by the narrowest of margin 0.10 to 1.06 to Croagh/Kilfinny-Rathkeale in a game where the West Limerick champions were never behind after opening the scoring with an early point and led at the break by 0.04 to 0.03 with six minutes remaining a Ballyhoura Gaels goal had the sides level but Croagh/Kilfinny- Rathkeale scored a late pointed free to secure the win and lift the County title. Two local club players Mikey Duggan and Enda O’Neill lined out on the local combination team drawn from Blackrock, Effin and Staker Wallace while Callan Ensor was introduced as a second half substitute.

The eagerly and long awaited County under 14 hurling championship final, Blackrock were playing Dromcollogher/Broadford was refixed for last night Wednesday November 1 (full match report next week).
The Annual General Meeting of Blackrock Bord na nOg will be held on Friday November 24 at Pavilion, Michael Fox Memorial Park
Reeling in the Year 1973:
Limerick GAA Health & Wellbeing Committee are organising a Reeling in the year -1973. Members of the 1973 winning team will be interviewed by Matt O Callaghan. It will be held in Mungret St Pauls GAA Community Centre on Friday November 10 at 8pm. Everybody welcome to come along to a night of nostalgia, banter and craic. Light refreshments will be served.
