The U21 hurlers played Tournafulla/Killeedy last Monday evening in the County final. The team was Cormac Daly, Daniel Clifford, Pat O’ Neill, Sean O’ Riordan, Eoin Enright, James O’ Riordan, Sean G. O’ Riordan, Christupher Browne, Kyle Dillon, David Browne, Sean Finn, John Bulfin, Craig McNamara, Paul O’ Riordan, Kevin Bonar, Bradley McNamara, David Mulqueen, Timothy McSweeney and Patryk Lademann. All subs used. The scorers were Kyle Dillon (0-13, 0-6F, 0-2 65), Sean Finn (0-2) and Christopher Browne (0-1F). The final score was Bruff 0-16 Tournafulla/Killeedy 1-18.
There was no winner of last week’s lotto jackpot, the numbers drawn were 2, 8, 12 and 27. The Lucky dip winners were €50 Maura Cullinane and €20 went to each of the following; Mary Casey, Breda Hayes, Aoife Browne, Theresa Hogan, Tadhg Murphy, Lily O’ Connell, Helen Lawrence, Pauline Treacy and Theresa McEniry. This weeks’ Lotto Jackpot will be €9,200.
Our U14 hurlers played Mungret in the Feile na Gael semi-final last Saturday evening in Claughaun in what turned out to be a very tense match. Our lads lost out on a scoreline of 0-10 to 0-6. The boys gave it their all but just couldn’t get their noses in front. Hard luck to all involved and well done to Mungret.
A very busy summer awaits with a total of 19 games in U14 hurling and football to fulfill. The team was; Darren Naughton, John Foley, Diarmuid Dennehy, Eoin O’Loughlin, Rory Coleman, David O’ Riordan, James Callinan, Josh Keating, Oisin Mulqueen, Patrick Finn, Darragh Butler, Kenny Pearce, Evan O’ Neill, Sean Murnane, Micheal O’ Riordan, Cathal O’ Brien, Daire O’ Brien, Colm O’ Loughlin and Conor Hynes.
