Ballybrown G.A.A. Club Notes:

A big well done to the U8’s who played Na Piarsaigh last Friday night in a blitz in Caherdavin and who won all their matches. There was some great hurling played by all. We wish John Adams a speedy recovery from a bad belt to his hand – which broke a finger and needed stitches. John is now a legend among all his teammates!

U10s are heading to a Munster blitz this Saturday morning. It’s always a great event. Have fun everyone.

Our minors faced Pallasgreen last Saturday afternoon in the final in Bruff. it was very disappointing for the lads to come home without the cup. It was a physically tough match and as usual they gave it their all. Its a young team with many having 2 years and more left at that age.

Junior B Football:

Congratulations to the junior B football team who had their quarter final replay vs Banogue last Sunday morning and came away with a great win. Andrew Cliffe and Killian Cliffe scored two great goals. Congratulations lads another semi final on the way.

Thank You:

We received a lovely thank you card from Mary O Shea for all the cakes and buns left over after the Parish League which we donated them to Thorpe’s Nursing Home. They were delighted to accept them. Thanks everyone

Ballybrown GAA club would like to express its deepest sympathies to Denis O Neill on the death of his dad. Also to Theresa, Luke, Paul and the extended O Neill family.
