Allianz Football League Division Four round-up:

Allianz Football League Division Four

WEXFORD 0-15 LONDON 0-9

WESTMEATH 0-19 WICKLOW 0-14

LIMERICK 2-11 LEITRIM 0-15

Ben Brosnan’s 10 point haul guided Wexford to a fifth Allianz Football League Division Four win on the spin at Innovate Wexford Park.

London, managed by former Wexford forward Ciaran Deely, were spirited throughout and led by 0-7 to 0-4 at the break.

Wexford, though, recovered after the restart with late scores from Brosnan and substitute sealing promotion for Seamus ‘Banty’ McEnaney’s team.

Nine John Heslin points ensured Westmeath registered another crucial win over Wicklow at TEG Cusack Park in Mullingar.

Since drawing with Carlow on the opening weekend Westmeath have defeated Limerick, Leitrim, Waterford, and Wicklow.

Iain Corbett and Darragh Treacy scored the goals as Limerick beat Leitrim at Newcastlewest.

Limerick were 1-8 to 0-7 ahead at the interval, but despite Leitrim points from Emlyn Mulligan and Ronan Kennedy the home team held on.
