Ahane G.A.A. Club Notes:

Senior Hurling:

The senior hurlers had a tough encounter with a strong Garryspillane team on Tuesday evening last in Ahane in the ACHL. Despite leading by 1-14 to 0-09 after 40 mins, Ahane ended up having to settle for a draw with the final scoreline of 1-16 each. It was a very spirited display from the Ahane players against virtually a full strength Garryspillane team.

Ahane’s ACHL match v Murroe/Boher which was scheduled for Boher on Saturday evening was called off on Saturday afternoon with Ahane getting a walkover.

Ahane’s ACHL match v Patrickswell takes place on Tuesday 18th April at 6.30pm in Patrickswell – all support on the evening will be very welcome for what promises to be a tough encounter against the reigning county champions.

The launch of our new main sponsor – Martin Haugh of Munster Tree Surgeons is imminent and our new Jersey for 2017 complete with the Munster Tree Surgeons Logo will be ready for the start of the 2017 championship.
