Pairc na nGael was a great place to be this evening to witness a great (7 point) double win
The Camogie team defeated Clare in the opening game at 4.30pm Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Division Group 1 Round 3 by 1.14 to 0.10 after trailing at the break by 0.08 to 0.07. Limerick had a bye in Round 2, after scoring an opening Round win over Offaly.
The Hurlers continued their Allianz League campaign when scoring a well deserved win by 1.21 to 1.14 over Tipperary in front of 8,559 spectators to give two wins out of two games
Congratulations are extended Limerick Handballer Martina McMahon who tonight was named Female Handballer of the Year.
